Insistent rhythm

Centuries ago, Man commenced a protracted, messy and violent separation from Nature. Today, Max and James will attempt to finish the job. But Nature is a vengeful bitch who won’t go down without a fight…
Max Percy + James Newton fuse idiotic humour with high art to present an artsy clown show about the ultimate battle of our times: Man vs Nature.
This show is being developed with support from New Diorama and caravan.
Cursed play (working title)

A design-led body horror about bullshit jobs.
Cursed Play is a grotesque mish-mash of our favourite horror movies: Videodrome, The Shining, Eraserhead, Tetsuo and many more.
A visual, atmospheric onslaught that explores the dark heart of Work.
This show is being developed with support from Bristol Old Vic, Seventh Productions and Arts Council England.
Faith (working title)
A movement-led exploration into the role of faith in contemporary society.
Drawing from Emile Durkheim’s concept of Collective Effervescence, FAITH is an autobiographical piece, made in collaboration with professional dancers of different faith backgrounds.
This show is being developed with students from Bristol School of Acting.
